more personal, and share a little more information about the people behind
these magnificent Shiloh Shepherd Dogs!!
Our
history has been
available all over the net for over a decade now. World Class Dogs

This "breed" was not planned, it has been a way of life! Our
family has been raising & training old style German Shepherds for
nearly 100 years now! Although the German war caused a slight
inconvenience for Wanda, her (master trainer) friend (later to
become Tina's father) stepped in to preserve the dream! Listed below
are the dates that represent the actual years of full time
dedication to our specific goals! Even though each of us spend many
years prior to, and then after, enjoying the company of our Shepherd dogs!
Each of us has dedicated several decades of our lives toward the
betterment of this breed ;-)

Schoenhals - 1st generation 1919 -1946
Wilhelm T. Runge - 2nd generation 1935 -1964
Tina
Barber - 3rd generation 1962 - and still going ;-)
Lisa Barber -
4th generation 1991 - & many more decades to go!
In 2019 our family will be able to mark their
HUNDREDTH
ANNIVERSARY
of dedication to the GSD/Shiloh Shepherd
Although
Tina had been "developing" the Shiloh Shepherd for many years,
the name itself did not become a major part of these dogs until
1974. You can now read the entire story of how

After
breeding, raising & training our dogs for 16 years in Rochester NY,
and then another 21 years in Gainesville NY, we presently reside
only 9 miles south of our last home, in Fillmore NY, and expect to be here
a very long time!! Please take a moment to

our facility over the past seven years!
Our family consists of Tina Barber,
her sons Richard and John (who built his home on the property in order
to be close enough to help out), her daughter Lisa
and her 3 children, Joshua Daniel (13) David James (11) and Matthew
Elijah (6)! We presently have four generations (86 year old Anita
moved in with us in 2007) of dog lovers
living together enjoying our Shiloh family ;-)
