Both of my Shiloh girls are from New Zion. I can’t begin to tell you how impressed I am with this breed. I used to have German Shepherds . The only way I can describe the difference is like going from gold plated to 24K gold. These gorgeous dogs are solid through and through! They have an uncanny almost human personality. Sophie is my first Shiloh Shepherd out of the Sage/Grizz 2004 litter. She is incredibly smart and lovable. She is very sensitive to my emotions and when I am upset will actually come and hug me. My second Shiloh Shepherd is Emma. Emma has beautiful structure and got me into the show ring. Her temperament is exactly what I told New Zion I wanted. I could not have asked for a more perfect girl. Emma has also brought me into breeding. She had a beautiful litter of puppies, and after one of her pups took a Best in Show I could not have been more proud. Lisa and Tina helped me through a pretty rough time for Emma after she had her puppies. They were there to listen and give me the support I needed. Because of all this and these two beautiful girls I have decided to become a Licensed Breeder in Training. Thank you Tina for developing my dream dog! And thanks to both Tina and Lisa for my Shiloh girls. Sue

What can I say about this most wonderful dog. When I spoke to Tina about the dog I wanted, I specifically did not want a black faced dog. I wanted more of a golden sable. When the Leah/Acer litter was born in May, 2008 and I got a glimpse of "Pink Girl" with the black face I was hooked. It was at that moment that I realized color didn't matter at all but the expression on her little face. I have to say, I do love the compliments she gets for her beauty but I love it even more when people say how sweet she is. I love my girl and to say she is amazing is an understatement. I am also glad to know that her brother Cooper lives nearby and they get to play with each other. To see one Shiloh is great, to see two Shilohs if fantastic. My thanks to Tina for giving me this wonderful girl. She could not have made a more perfect match. Thanks Mari

Ella "boots" is my
first Shiloh. She is almost 2 years old now and she is out of the 2008
Snow/Blue litter. She in incredibly smart and she is very independent.
Ella has changed my life in many ways, she was so smart and easy to
teach, I have decided to train and breed dogs for a living! I couldn't
be happier with Boots. I will always have a Shiloh in my life. Thank you
Tina for giving us this awesome breed Robin, Jay and Ella "boots"

As I sit/lay here
post-op, a new side of my boy has appeared. He will retrieve his
favorite squeaky toy time and time again, placing it right in my hand
(after months of running off with it!). He then jumps on the hide-a-bed
with his warm body stretched out next to me and looks up as if to say
"time to rest, Mom". |

Thank you so much for Koda, he is just an awesome dog. All who know him love him. As a puppy he was quite a handful, very mischievous, but a lot of fun. Now he has grown into a beautiful, intelligent, loving, protective dog. He is very playful, loves to play Frisbee, ball and swimming. He is always up for anything. He has outgrown most of the mischievousness, but there is always a twinkle in his eyes. I have loved many dogs over the years, but these dogs are really special, they are almost human (actually I like them better than humans). I will always want a Shiloh Shepherd by my side. Thank you for this wonderful breed. Lisa P.

In
October 2009 I decided that I was ready to bring a dog back into my
life, after having been "dogless" for close to 20 years. I researched a
lot of different breeds, and the Shiloh Shepherd is the breed that
appealed to me the most. Then I researched the many different Shiloh
Shepherd breeders and read Tina Barber's book The Shiloh Shepherd
Story. Tina's book convinced me that I wanted an ISSR Shiloh
Shepherd. I sent an extensive description of the kind of dog I was
looking for to Tina and Lisa, and they sent Yuri to me in June 2010. He
is everything I asked for and more! I couldn't be happier with him. |

I had my
heart set on a Nero/Story pup for a whole year. It was
through many trials and tribulations that the puppies were
finally born. I watched them grow, counting down the days
until I'd have puppy breath in the house. When the LER came
I left the choice completely up to Tina and Lisa. My husband
and I had very specific requests for the type of pup we
needed, and I knew we'd get exactly what we wanted by
letting them choose.

Orion came into my
life from New Zion April 2003. He was my precious "golden boy" son
of the original Golden Boy, Grizz. Although he was a challenge for
me his first few years, he and I became such a team, we could read
each other's minds. I lost Orion February 2010 to cancer. I miss him
so! He will always be a part of my whole. Thank you Tina and Lisa
for giving me my first soul mate dog!

I've gotten several Shilohs from New
Zion over the years. And, each one is special and wonderful. |

I went to my 1st homecoming, visited New Zion and see my Mira and talked Lisa into selling her to me. Now I have 4 females. To me they are so much easier to train. As u see my Male enjoys his job protecting his Ladies. Jan |

Nala has added much joy to our lives. Her quirky traits always put a smile on our face or make us laugh out loud. When Nala looks at you with those big brown eyes you just know what she is thinking and feeling. Her goal in life is to acquire constant attention from her human companions, as well as her Shiloh brothers! Although Nala has an extremely gentle side, she does have moments where the protective Shiloh arises. She sometimes may seem vicious to any unsuspecting intruder. However, all that know and love her realize her bark is louder than her licks! |
